Turn Right, Ithaca

Over the years there have been a number of excellent attempts to map the route followed by Odysseus. To my knowledge, though, no one has ever prepared quite so precise a map of the route Odysseus should have followed. It's 25 hours by ferry, but beware of tolls. The final step in the directions "Turn Right, Ithaca" might be more poetic than anything C.P. Cavafy ever wrote.

This was inspired, of course, by another remarkable cartographic effort,  the Google Maps version of On the Road.
